Hyderabad: The Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society (TMREIS) has started recruiting staff for its residential schools, for both teaching and non-teaching, on an outsource basis since the process of recruiting through the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) is unlikely to happen in the immediate future.

Following the decision, long queues of aspirants were seen outside the Haj House which is the nodal agency for the recruitment. Several of them have been trying for these jobs for the last few days. However, the anxiety levels were high on Thursday as they were told that it was the last day for applying for the outsourced job.

“I have learnt that the process of recruitment is being taken up at the Haj House. Hence, I have come here to get more information on this,” said Md Zaheer, a native of Warangal. In March, through a GO, the State government had created 1960 posts for 70 Minorities Welfare Residential Schools for the academic year 2016-17.

According to the GO, the recruitment process included taking into services 280 outsourced personnel. But now, it has been decided that almost all the posts would be outsourced.

Even though the TMREIS had first announced that it would go for the recruitment process only through the TSPSC, it has changed its decision after it learnt that the TSPSC process could would be taken up only after six months.
