Major reshuffle in GHMC town planning wing
In a major reshuffle, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has transferred as many as 17 assistant city planners (ACPs) to various circles and zones in the city. Of them, two ACPs were transferred to the parent department.

The ACPs, who have completed service of more than two years at one circle have been transferred to other circles. They include Mohammad Mahmood, Purushottam Rao, E Nagi Reddy, V Prasad, Balananda Swamy, K Srinivas, Tulsiram, B Venkata Rami Reddy, P Jagan Mohan, Sambiah, Santosh Venu, K Mahipal Reddy, MB Gajanandhan, Y Sreedharacharyulu and Christopher.
East zone deputy city planner Vasanth Rao has been transferred to the central zone. Similarly, east zone ACP B Chandrashekar will be in full additional charge of deputy city planner in the same zone. Two ACPs belonging to Directorate of Town and Country Planning (DTCP) cadre working for more than 5 years in the GHMC have also been transferred to their parent department.
