​Nalgonda: ‘The government is paying special attention to law and order for the security of the people in the State, said Home Minister Naini Narsimha Reddy.

Along with district Minister D Jagadish Reddy, DIG Anurag Sharma, IG Nagireddy, Intelligence IG Sivadhar Reddy, the Minister has on Tuesday inaugurated the police building with 30 rooms, constructed with a cost of Rs 1.30 crore, at Hill colony in Nagarjuna Sagar in the district.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister explained the friendly policing and it’s positive results in the State. Stating that each and every police station in the State are linked with DIG office through online to know the information, he said formation of new districts would provide more services to the public besides easy administration.

District Minister Jagadish Reddy listed out the government schemes for the welfare of public and progress of the State. DIG Anurag Sharma said that another 40 police stations in the lines of Sagar police station are under construction across the State.

Later, the Ministers and officials examined the Pushkar ghat works through aerial survey. At the end of the tour, the Ministers conducted a review meeting with Mahaboobnagar Collector TK Sridevi, SP Rama Rajeshwari and Nalgonda in-charge Collector Dr N Satyanarayana, SP Praksh Reddy on Krishna Pushakarams, scheduled to begin from August 12.
