Thieves attack old couple, rob gold chain

The couple woke up and resisted the theives’ attempt, upon which the thieves stabbed them with knive and escaped with the chain. After hearing the cries of the couple, neighbours shifted them to Kamineni hospital at Hyderabad and informed the police. Atmakur (M) police registered a case and investigation is on.
Nalgonda: Unidentified thieves stabbed an old couple and robbed them of gold chain at Atmakur (M) after midnight on Monday. According to police, the thieves entered the house of Somaiah and Ramulamma on Monday night and tried to snatch the three tulas gold chain from Ramulamma’s neck.
