Hyderabad: Demanding the State government to re-conduct the EAMCET-2 examination, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) warned the government that it will lay siege to Chief Minister’s Camp Office along with students and parents in case the government failed to conduct the re-examination within 15 days' time.

The TPCC also demanded the State government to order CBI inquiry into the alleged EAMCET-2 paper leakage saying that TPCC has no faith in CID inquiry. Speaking to the media here on Friday, TPCC official spokesperson K Mahesh alleged that the TRS government was not taking the EAMCET-2 paper leakage issue seriously.

The government made poor students as scapegoats by allowing leakage of EAMCET-2 paper. He alleged that the State government has given contract to the ineligible Magnetic Infotech Company to conduct the prestigious EAMCET examination at the cost of the career prospects of the aspirants. He alleged that the SSC and the Intermediate Boards have kept the company in black list due to its unfair conduct of examination.

But the higher education once again assigned the job of conducting this examination to the above company, which was an expert in frauds. Reminding its inability, he said that the company failed to prepare a merit list of 1400 students in 2014 and due to its inability the same students have lost their seats in IIT.

Questioning the State government as to why it assigned the job of conducting EAMCET, E-CET, LAWCET, EdCET, OU CET and KU CET to Info Tech Company, Mahesh alleged that the Education Department has links with the company. He said that the company was using faulty biometric machines only to ensure ranks to selected students.

He said that the government rejected the tenders filed by the prestigious TCS to help the company in question. Reiterating his demand of CBI inquiry, Mahesh said that he has no faith in CID inquiry and hence the government should order CBI inquiry immediately to protect the interests of the poor students.
