Special Officer inspects Pushkaram works
On Friday he along with District in-charge Collector Dr.N.Satyanaryana conducted a review meeting with officials on the progress of Pushkaram works in the district. Addressing the officials, he said that the in-charge officials of Pushkar ghats and police officers must convene meetings jointly and after visiting the ghats, properly plan the steps to be taken along the roads for the convenience of
Nalgonda: Krishna Pushkarams District Special Officer and Irrigation Secretary Vikas Raj directed the officials to complete the construction of ghats and roads by July 28 without fail.
On Friday he along with District in-charge Collector Dr.N.Satyanaryana conducted a review meeting with officials on the progress of Pushkaram works in the district. Addressing the officials, he said that the in-charge officials of Pushkar ghats and police officers must convene meetings jointly and after visiting the ghats, properly plan the steps to be taken along the roads for the convenience of devotees during Pushkaram days.
He advised officials to get ready with sufficient staff and required materials at the allotted pushkar points. He directed the officials of the Endowment department to arrange rain- proof sheds with festive deities before temples located along the Krishna river belt ghats. To control the traffic, officials of revenue, police and TSRTC should co-ordinate with each other, he added.
In charge Collector Dr N Satyanarayana explained the status of Pushakarm works to the Special Officer. Superintendent of Police Prakash Reddy , Additional Joint Collector Venkat Rao, DRO Ravi Naik, and Pushkarams event line department officials participated.
In another event, District Minister Jagadish Reddy along with Roads & Buildings Minister Tummala Nageshwar Rao and Irrigation Secretary Vikas Raj, inspected the ongoing Pushkar ghats and Road works at Kasharaj palli and Pedda Munigal villages in Chandampeta mandal in the district.
