HC allows certain courses in counselling, conditions apply

Justice Rama Subramaniam and Justice Anis on Thursday issued interim orders on a batch of writ petitions requiring the JNTU-H to include in counselling certain courses in some engineering colleges.

The Bench, as reported earlier, was hearing writ pleas questioning the university regulation.

It went through various records placed before it college-wise and course-wise. It permitted such colleges and courses where the objection was not very serious and made it clear that such admissions would be subject to final orders.

It also granted time to some of the colleges to carry out corrective measures where shortage of laboratories was pointed out.a
