Odisha delegation calls on GHMC chief
A delegation from several municipal corporations in Odisha on Tuesday called on Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation commissioner B Janardhan Reddy to learn about the financial practices in the civic body.
Hyderabad: A delegation from several municipal corporations in Odisha on Tuesday called on Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation commissioner B Janardhan Reddy to learn about the financial practices in the civic body.
Officials from various corporations including Berhampur, Bhubaneshwar, Cuttack, Sambalpur and others visited Hyderabad as part of their tour to study about revenue generation, audit and financial statements. Interacting with the Odisha officials,
the GHMC commissioner explained to them about the sources of revenue generation pertaining to property tax, trade licence, advertisement tax and other major revenue sources of the GHMC. The delegates expressed satisfaction on the practices initiated by GHMC and about the sources of revenue.
