Hyderabad: Crime Investigation Department (CID) on Friday arrested two more brokers, including one from Kolkata, in connection with the TS EAMCET II question paper leak scam.
On credible information, the special teams on Friday nabbed Mayank (30) of Kolkata and Garimella Veerender Rao (40), a resident of Bachupally and native of Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh.
The accused duo lured 10 students and collected money from them to arrange practice sessions of the leaked question papers, said CID police. “Mayank, through his contacts in Telangana secured eight students and took them to Mumbai with the help of his associates’’ said CID IG Sowmya Mishra.
