Hyderabad: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) sleuths on Tuesday traced the remains of his brother-in-law Nadeem alias Vijay Kumar from the place where the slain gangster Nayeemuddin had burnt his body about three years ago.
After Nayeem was gunned down, the police arrested several of his associates and relatives in connection with cases of extortion, kidnapping and murder. During questioning, the police found that Nayeem had killed his brother-in-law and his niece, a minor girl.
Nayeem’s brother Fayeem had earlier confessed about killing Nadeem alias Vijay Kumar, who had married their sister Sultana. After marriage, Vijay Kumar changed his name as Nadeem, and was living with Nayeem’s family at Alkapuri Colony. Fayeem also told about the brutal murder of Nasreen by Nayeem. The 17-year-old Nasreen was killed by Nayeem for not obeying him, said the SIT officials.
On August 23, the police recovered some skeletal remains of Nasreen (17), whose body was burnt by Nayeem and his associates. The girl was killed in Nayeem’s house at Alkapuri Colony and was burnt in the outskirts of Manchirevula village.
On Tuesday, the SIT officials recovered some evidence and remains of Nadeem’s chocked body at KK Basthi which is located on the roadside between Pedda Tupran and Maheshwaram village.
Nadeem was against Nayeem’s atrocities and he always raised objections on Nayeem’s criminal activities. Worried that Nadeem would go out of his gang and reveal about him to the police, Nayeem killed Nadeem in front of his relatives and associates, said sources.
