Hyderabad: Stating that only contractors were feeling happy in the TRS rule, Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhkar Reddy alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao achieved nothing except borrowing Rs 40,000 crore in the last 27 months.

Speaking at the Assembly media point here on Wednesday, Reddy asserted that there was no change in the attitude of the Chief Minister though he had completed two-and-a-half years in the office.

The Chief Minister was under the impression that sun rose only when he woke up, he said adding that Chandrashekar Rao was working against the interests of people of all sections.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu were getting special treatment from Centre, Ponguleti said and questioned Chandrashekar Rao, who said he achieved Telangana by doing lobbying in Delhi, why he was not getting funds from the Centre.

“Why the Chief Minister is not demanding the Centre special package to Telangana State? Why is he compromising with the Centre?” he wondered.

He suggested Chandrashekar Rao not to compromise with Chandrababu Naidu as compromised in ‘vote-for-note’ case, with regard to any issue concerning both the Telugu States.
