Innovation hub at CCMB
CSIR-CCMB has launched its iHUB (Innovation Hub) in Hyderabad on Friday to provide a platform for the young minds and act as a pipeline for delivering the best outcome to the market. Entrepreneurs are sprouting up everywhere with innovative ideas and the zeal to be the job-givers and creators is more these days than the job seekers.
Hyderabad: CSIR-CCMB has launched its iHUB (Innovation Hub) in Hyderabad on Friday to provide a platform for the young minds and act as a pipeline for delivering the best outcome to the market. Entrepreneurs are sprouting up everywhere with innovative ideas and the zeal to be the job-givers and creators is more these days than the job seekers.
There is a special team working on this project to select the groups who are up with innovative ideas that in turn helps the society. Rakesh Mishra, Director of CCMB said “the main aim of iHUB is to provide a platform for putting forward the best ideas from brain to laboratory and also to provide a place for start-up companies who are interested in medical and agricultural biotechnology.”
The iHUB provides facilities to incubate the ideas by the start-ups, so that they can mature into technologies subsequently. “With the launch of iHUB, we are expecting that many new start-ups and innovators will get a stage to groom and build themselves into robust industrial players in the field of medical biotechnology” said Rakesh Mishra.
Chief Guest for the event Varaprasad Reddy, CMD of Shantha Biotechnics said “Entrepreneurs could be anyone depending on the market needs. Young minds that are cranky who thinks out of the box even without the logic are the biggest achievers now-a-days.
