1.5 lakh fishlings found dead

The locals alleged that some miscreants have allegedly poured insecticide in the water. They lodged a police complaint. Investigation is on as the incident amounts to violation of the regulation since the government has taken seriously the distribution of fishlings across the State.
Mahabubabad: About 1.5 lakh fishlings, worth Rs 3 lakh, released recently in Kotha Cheruvu on the outskirts of Malyal village were found dead on Sunday morning.
