Balanagar-Narsapur flyover gets 387 crore sanction
Municipal Administration and Urban Development department on Wednesday accorded administrative sanction of Rs 387 crore to construct flyover from Balanagar X roads to Narsapur X roads under Strategic Road Development Programme (SRDP). It has also a issued a GO No 833 in this regard.

The State government asked the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) to acquire land, properties and call tenders for the flyover construction.
Excluding property and land acquisition cost HMDA would spend Rs 122 crore to construct the grade separators. The government has asked the HMDA to spend the remaining Rs 265 crore to acquire land (33,175.698 sqmts) and 59 properties.
In order to take up the construction the government has also asked the HMDA to spend the revenue generated through sources including land regularisation scheme (LRS) and building regularisation scheme (BRS) schemes.
