Hyderabad: Demanding that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao impose moratorium on the farmers’ loans, Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy has alleged that the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was speaking on cashless transactions without knowledge.

He said that both Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and KCR were not informing the Centre about the prevailing situation in two Telugu States.

Both the Telugu States Chief Ministers were hatching a conspiracy to abolish the welfare schemes while showing demonetisation of big notes, he alleged.

Speaking to the media at Assembly Media Hall here on Wednesday, Ponguleti alleged that KCR didn’t bother about the problems of the common people.

Asking the State and Central governments to facilitate farmers to exchange their big notes they have easily, he said it was atrocious on the part of KCR to say that the people would understand easily the cashless transactions while taking up single awareness programme, he lamented.

Finding fault with the TDP for spreading misinformation on revealing Rs 10,000 crore IDS in the past, Ponguleti said the TDP leaders have to rub their nose on the soil for spreading misinformation.

The Congress leader said his party would organise ‘Thanksgiving Day’ in a big way in the State on the occasion of AICC chief Sonia Gandhi’s birthday on December 9.
