Couple injured after SUV driven by minor hits them

Hyderabad: A man and his wife sustained serious injuries here Sunday in a road accident involving an SUV which was allegedly being driven by a minor, police said.

The incident occurred around 3.30 pm at Pragati Nagar locality and the couple has been admitted to a hospital, they said. The woman's condition is stated to be serious, police said. A case under section 338 of IPC (causing grievous hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others) has been registered, police said, adding that efforts were on to nab those responsible for the incident
