Tandur: The local police, headed by SI Nagarjuna, on Sunday organised a campaign as part of the department’s efforts to create awareness among vehicle users. The focus was on the use of safety gear like helmet and seat belts.
During the campaign, which included a car rally, the SI tried to send out a strong message that if the drivers observed safety norms they could reach their destination safely and live happily with their families.
Another SI Venkat Srinu, along with members of his staff, educated people on the use of safety belts in four-wheelers. Bashirabad SI Chaturvedi was among those who participated in the awareness drive.
