Manisha Koirala, cine actress, who survived cancer, Dr P. Vijay Anand Reddy, Director, Apollo Cancer Institute, spoke. The doctors panelists include: Dr SVSS Prasad, Consultant Medical Oncologist; Dr. G. Srinivas Chakravarthy, Consultant Medical Oncologist; Dr. M Vamshi Krishna, Consultant Medical Oncologist; Dr. TPS Bhandari, Consultant Surgical Oncologist;

Dr. Padmaja Lokireddy, Consultant Hemato Oncologist and Dr. Kaushik Bhattacharya, Consultant Radiation Oncologist. The Public Representatives included Sangita Reddy, Joint MD of Apollo Hospitals Group; Dr. P. Shashikala, Prof of Osmania Medical College; Ms. Padma Rajgopal, Chairperson, FICCI FLO; Ms. Samanth Reddy, MD St. judge India Child Care Centre and Ms. Ajita Reddy, MD, Hamstech Institute of Fashion & Interior Design.

When asked about stigma attached to the cancer victims, the doctor panelists said, cancer survivors can play a very significant role to eliminate that stigma. They must go out and talk openly, they suggested.

A 77-year-old cancer survivor Prof Ramana Rao while narrating his plight and journey, said it is not how long we survive after cancer, but how well we can help cancer patients who are fighting the disease. Several cancer survivors and FLO have generously donated to Cure Foundation.
