Hyderabad: TRS leader and Rajya Sabha member K Kesava Rao’s daughter Gadwala Vijayalakshmi on Saturday refuted the reports of illegal registration of land in her name.

Admitting that she had purchased 25 acres of land in Hafeezpur village, she said she got the lands registered as per High Court order given on February 3 last year. She also claimed that the land formed part of the court decree in a long-pending case CS No 14 of 1958 in which government was a party.

It is interesting to mention here that the High Court order she referred to was only a notice before admission and the court directed the respondents, including the Sub-Registrar of Ibrahimpatnam, to take action as per law.

Also, the CS 14 is related to the long-pending dispute relating to Paigah properties in the erstwhile Nizam state and the jurisdiction is with the High Court. The court had not issued any final orders. Despite this, the properties had been alienated by several people taking advantage of the lapses in the system.

Even the six acre land which Goldstone Group of Companies had registered to KK’s family in Ghansimiyaguda village near Shamshabad for a pittance formed part of Paigah properties which is part of the dispute in CS 14case.

The company allegedly acquired the lands by creating forged documents and threatening the villagers who were in possessionof them for generations, with the help of local officials of the Revenue and police departments.

Sources said KK recently visited the six acre land and oversaw the fencing work against the appeals of the locals who alleged that the lands were forcibly snatched from them by the Goldstone Group through litigation using fake documents.
