GO for Extreme Emergency works

Hyderabad: The State government on Thursday issued comprehensive orders on tender procedure and registration of contract rules regarding extreme emergency works.

The GO specifies that the time allowed from the date of publication of tender notice to the date of receipt of tender is 14 days for the first call and 7 days for the second call.

B Janardhan Reddy, Commissioner of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, has stated that further relaxation is required for execution of extreme emergency works like monsoon emergency and dismantling of dilapidated structures in GHMC.

Around 50 lakh vehicles move on 9000 km on Hyderabad roads and disruption for a single day causes huge inconvenience to the commuters.
