​Hyderabad: Minister for Animal Husbandry and Cinematography Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Saturday said the State government was taking several measures for the development of sports in the State.
Inaugurating a two-day open swimming competition being conducted by the GHMC at Gurumurthy Swimming Pool at Parade Grounds in Secunderabad, the Minister said the government was encouraging sportsmen and women in a big way and spending adequate funds.
The people would remain healthy by regular practice of swimming, physical exercise, he admitted.
