Thunder showers likely at several places in Telangna today
As the Southwest Monsoon once again turned weak over Telangana, after being active for over a week, isolated rain occurred covering 25 per cent of the places in the State during the last 24 hours ending 8.30 am on Sunday. Sathupalle (Khammam district), Eturunagaram (Warangal), Dummugudem (Khammam), and Wanaparthy (Mahbubnagar) recorded two cm of rain each.

Sathupalle (Khammam district), Eturunagaram (Warangal), Dummugudem (Khammam), and Wanaparthy (Mahbubnagar) recorded two cm of rain each.
The Met department bulletin said there was one cm of rain each in Manuguru (Khammam), Madnur (Nizamabad), Chinna Chintakunta (Mahbubnagar), Jukkal (Nizamabad), Ramayampet (Medak) and Pinapaka (Khammam). The bulletin warned of thunderstorms lashing isolated places in all districts of Telangana on October 2. The forecast said light to moderate rain/thundershowers are very likely to occur at isolated places in the State from October 2 to 5.
