Congress workers have been asked to hold demonstrations before all Gram Panchayats and Mandal Parishads on October 3 demanding the withdrawal of GO No. 39 pertaining to the formation of Farmers Coordination Committees. He described the GO as undemocratic as it weakens the local bodies. He demanded that the State Government take measures to strengthen Gram Panchayats and Mandal Parishads.
