Hyderabad: Favourable conditions are likely to develop for further withdrawal of the Southwest Monsoon from some more parts of the Telangana State during the next two to three days, even as the upper air trough now runs from south Chhattisgarh to south Konkan across Telangana and south Maharashtra.

The Met Department bulletin said here on Sunday that during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 AM, the monsoon has weakened over Telangana. Isolated rain occurred in the State with Sriramsagar Pocha in Nizamabad district recording six cm of rainfall.

According to the bulletin, the amounts of rainfall (in cm) recorded in the State were: Nirmal (Adilabad) 5, Sarangapur (Karimnagar), Yedapalle (Nizamabad) 3 each, Makloor (Nizamabad) 2, Navipet (Nizamabad) and Nizamabad, one each.
