Hyderabad : City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar has imposed prohibitory orders in the limits of Saifabad Police Station, together with the offices located within the premises of the A.P. and Telangana Secretariats including the gates leading to the offices and also areas falling up to a distance of 3 KM s from secretariat building perimeter.
Holding of any public meeting; Assembly of five or more persons; Carrying the fire arms, banners, placards, lathis, spears, swords, sticks, brickbats, etc; Shouting of slogans; Making of speeches, etc; Processions and demonstration and Picketing or dharnas within the area specified in the schedule to this order without a written permission has been prohibited.
The prohibitory orders would be in force from 6 am on March 19 to 6 am on Marcy 15 (both days inclusive), unless withdrawn earlier. Any person violating the order shall be liable for punishment under section 188 of the Indian Penal code and as per the provisions of Hyderabad City Police Act, 1348 Fasli, the Commissioner said.
