Two killed, six injured in road mishap on NH44 near Pebbair

Two persons were killed in a road accident which took place on National Highway 44 in the early hours of Sunday
Two persons were killed in a road accident which took place on National Highway 44 in the early hours of Sunday.
The mishap occurred on Bengaluru highway near Pebbair at around 3 am, when a bus owned by Jagan Travels attempted to overtake a lorry and hit the lorry from the side.
The bus, carrying 42 passengers, was travelling from Hyderabad to Kadapa when the incident took place.
Two people, the lorry cleaner and a woman succumbed to death on the spot. The bodies were shifted to Wanaparthy Government Hospital for an autopsy. Six others sustained injuries in the mishap out of which, the condition of two is reportedly critical. They were shifted to Kurnool Government Hospital.
