Officials from mines department visit temple

Bhadrachalam: A group of senior officials from the Mines department visited the Lord Rama temple here in the Bhadrachalm on Thursday. They were welcomed by the temple officers and priests. When visiting officials had offered prayers in main temple, they visited the Lord Anjaneya Swamy, Goddess Laxmi Ammavaru temples.
As part of the Sravan masam, the priests conducted special pujas in the presence of a large number of devotees who thronged the temple. The devotees also participated in the Nitya Kalayanam in the Beda mandapam.
On the last day of the Sravana masam, that is on Friday, the priests will conduct the special pujas in the temple, said the temple officials. Special Kukuma puja programme will also be organised on the occasion, they added.
