Parigi: Former legislator, Congress party leader Rammohan Reddy took part in a rally in support of Bharat Bandh called by opposition parties against price rise of petroleum products, from Kodangal Junction to Indira Chowk here on Monday.
He also took part in three-hour dharna staged on Hyderabad-Bijapur Road. Speaking on the occasion, Rammohan Reddy lamented that price rise will show its evil effect on essential commodities and put additional financial burden on common man. He claimed that previous UPA government at Centre decreased the prices according to international market. He demanded cut in prices. CPI Parigi secretary Venkataiah took part.
