The bandh was also observed in Madhapur, where Rangareddy district Congress party secretary Gangula Narasimha Yadav and Congress incharge of Madhapur division Gangula Radhakrishna along with CPI cadre ensured that the bandh was observed. The bandh was also observed in Kondapur division where Congress leaders Suresh Naik, P Ram Yadav, Gangaram, Madanachari, Rangaswamy and women congress leaders Parvati, Sarojamma and Sulthanamma along with CPI leaders Venkat Swamy Narayan participated in protests.
