​Hyderabad: The Bangalore North and South Regional Offices of Vijaya Bank on Saturday conducted a customer awareness programme in co-ordination with the Banking Codes and Standards Board of India (BCSBI), an independent and autonomous body, at the bank head office in Bangalore.
The programme was an effort at increasing awareness among the customers on the BCSBI Codes and grievance redressal mechanism in Banks. The session focused on various constraints faced by the customers in their day-to-day activities, how to go about addressing them and the responsibility of the Bank was addressing such issues in a timely manner.
The BCSBI Vice Chairman Jyothi Sharma spoke at length on the efforts of board in educating the customers. Bank Executive Director Y Nageswara Rao emphasised the importance of customers and the various measures to enhance customer delight in the Bank.
