TRS leaders putting fake names on voters list: CPM

Khammam: CPM leader Y Srikanth on Sunday alleged that the TRS party leaders in connivance with some officials put some fake names on the voters’ list to win the upcoming Assembly elections.

Addressing the media persons at Sundaraiah Bhavan, Y Srikanth alleged that using their political power, the local TRS party candidates included fake names on the voters list illegally with the cooperation of some of the officials.

In some of the villages of Raghunathapalem mandal and some divisions in the Khammam city, the TRS Carporators enrolled thousands of fake voters. Even after coming to know this fact, the officials are keeping their mouth shut, he said.

With all evidences, the CPM leaders are going to meet the District Collector and hand over the details about how many fake voters in which division and surrounding villages present under Khammam constituency were enrolled, he said.

He demanded the District Collector to initiate an inquiry and remove all those fake voters from the list. Otherwise, the CPM would take up massive agitation along with people to teach the TRS party a fitting lesson, he warned.
