Hyderabad: Several caste-based organisations are lining up before the Manifesto Committee of the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi for including their demands in the party’s manifesto for the ensuing elections. The Telangana State Sagara (Uppara) Sangham representatives met the TRS Manifesto Committee Chairman K Keshava Rao with several demands.

The Sangham members urged the TRS leader to provide pensions on the line of toddy tappers since their community falls under most backward classes, involved in construction works.
