Secunderabad: In order to clear extra rush of passengers during Dasera and Diwali festivals, 10 special trains will run between Kakinada Town and Secunderabad; Santragachi and Chennai Central, informed a railway press release. Kakinada Town-Secunderabad-Kakinada Town (02 services) Train no 82715 Kakinada Town – Secunderabad Special train will depart Kakinada Town at 18:00 hrs on October 21 and arrive Secunderabad at 04:40 hrs on the next day.

In the return direction, Train no 82716 Secunderabad - Kakinada Town Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 05:50 hrs on October 22, and arrive Kakinada Town at 18.00 hrs on the same day. En route, these special trains will stop at Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Guntur, Piduguralla, Miryalaguda and Nalgonda stations in both the directions. These special trains consist of AC III tier, sleeper class and general II class coaches.

Santragachi - Chennai Central - Santragachi Special Trains (08 services) Train no 02841 Santragachi - Chennai Central weekly special train will depart Santragachi at 12:40 hrs on October 12, 19, 26 and November 2, on Fridays and arrive Chennai Central at 16:40 hrs on Saturdays. In the return direction, 02842 Chennai Central - Santragachi weekly special train will depart Chennai Central at 18:20 hrs on October 13, 20, 27 and November 3 on Saturdays and arrive Santragachi at 23:30 hrs on Sundays.

En route, these special trains will stop at Kharagpur, Bhadrak, Jajpur Keonjhar Road , Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Vizianagaram, Duvvada, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Nellore and Gudur stations in both the directions. These trains will have AC II Tier, AC III Tier and sleeper class coaches.
