Siddipet: Caretaker Minister T Harish Rao on Friday called upon Hindus and Muslims to remain united with brotherly feelings, while promising Kaleshwaram water in every tank by the next Dasara and further progress in the coming days.
Participating in Dasara festivities in Kotilingala, Narsapur, Rangadhampally, Rural Police limits, Rao stated that supply of Kaleshwaram water would provide relief to farmers who have been facing hardship due to drying of crops on account of non-availability of irrigation facility. He hoped the area would turn green with the supply of the Godavari water to every acre during the next six months.
The minister recalled that Siddipet district was formed on Vijayadasami day. He visualised a rosy future for Siddipet district in all sectors with the blessings of god, people and CM KCR. Rao said industries were being set up in Siddipet for providing employment to youth. Two national highways were on the anvil in the district. He stated that a government medical college was has been sanctioned for providing better health care to the poor. A 500-bed corporate hospital has been built in the district.
