Gor Banjaras seek 9.8% tribal quota

LB Nagar: Gor Banjara Aikya Vedika state president Rajkumar demanded an increase in tribal quota to 9.8 per cent at a seminar held in Nagole on Sunday. He also demanded declaration of Teej festival and Seva Lal birth anniversary as public holidays, and for the upliftment of Banjara girls and women through education and by providing career opportunities. He said that they would support the parties that include the demands in their manifestos for the ensuing elections.
