Safilguda mini tank bund stinks

Neredmet: Bathukamma and Devi immersions were conducted during Dasara festival at Safilguda mini tank bund but the officials failed to clear the mess left over after celebrations, complained local laughing club members. The members lamented that GHMC officials did not clear the immersed idols, Bathukamma left overs, plastic papers and other garbage from the tank despite several complains in this regard.

People are facing inconvenience due to foul smell emanating from the tank. Locals condemned the negligence of GHMC officials and demanded authorities take note of the issue and address it at the earliest. Krishna, B Nagaraju, Venkatesh, president of laughing club and others were present.
