Nalgonda: Overcoming one seat to one family condition, erstwhile Nalgonda Congress leaders, who are playing key role in the state Congress were succeeded in getting seats to their family members.

TPCC chief Uttamkumar Reddy and his wife ( sitting MLA) Padmavathi got party tickets from Huzurnagar and Kodad Assembly constituencies respectively.

At one point, rumors were doing rounds that as an alliance partner and having 50,000 Andhra settlers across the constituency Kodad ticket will be allocated to Bollam Mallaiah Yadav of State TDP leader, but TPCC chief using his rapport with the Congress high command successfully retained the ticket to her wife Padmavathi for the second time. Padmavathi who won the Kodad seat in 2014 elections is getting ready to repeat the same result of 2014 in this election too.

Also, Congress Manifesto Committee co- chairman Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and his brother MLC Raj Gopal Reddy got party tickets from Nalgonda and Munugodu constituencies respectively.

Besides their own tickets, Komatireddy brothers succeeded in getting party ticket to their disciple Chirumarthi Lingaiah from Nakrekal Assembly constituency.

At one point, TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy tried to avoid tickets to Rajgopal Reddy and Chirumarthi Lingaiah in the name of allocation of Munugodu constituency ticket to CPI or his follower and Congress constituency in charge Palvai Rajani Kumari and Nakrekal constituency ticket to alliance partner Mana Inti Party, smelling the danger that former MP and present MLC Raj Gopal Reddy using his relation with the Congress senior leaders and former united Andhra Pradesh party in charges Digvijay Singh and Azad he mounted pressure on TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy and party tickets screening committee and succeeded in getting tickets to himself and his disciple Chirumarthi Lingaiah.

Meanwhile, senior Congress leader, former CLP leader Jana Reddy who is contesting form Nagarjuna Sagar constituency is trying his level best to field his son Kunduru Raghuveer Reddy from Miryalguda constituency but alliance partner TJS is asking the seat to his leader Vidyadar Reddy.
As per the sources, the suspense over the Miryalguda alliance candidate is going to be clear within 48 hours.
