The constituency incharge of BC Welfare Association Rajkumar appealed education institutions and business establishments to cooperate for the proposed bandh on Saturday

Tandur: The constituency in-charge of BC Welfare Association Rajkumar appealed education institutions and business establishments to cooperate for the proposed bandh on Saturday. The bandh call was given by state association president R Krishnaiah protesting against the attitude of the political parties for not giving due share to BCs in the forthcoming elections.

Speaking on the occasion, here on Friday, Rajkumar criticised that TRS, BJP and Mahakutami did not allot adequate seats to BC candidates even though the population was about 57 percent. Parties are treating the BCs as flag bearers and not allotting the tickets to represent in the house, he said. Krishnaiah handed over requisition letter seeking support for the bandh to the representatives of various organisations. BC association leaders Rajan Goud, Laxman Goud, Venkat, and leaders of student’s organisation were present.
