Veerender Goud enters poll battle

Nacharam: The Mahakutami candidate of Uppal constituency, Tulla Veerender Goud, on Monday filed his nomination papers after his supporters took out a massive rally from Kapra to local GHMC office. The rally passed through Nacharam and Habsiguda en route to the municipal office. Goud was accompanied by his father and senior TDP leader T Devender Goud and Uppal constituency Congress party in-charge Ragidi Lakshma Reddy.

Addressing the participants at the rally, Devender Goud expressed confidence that the constituency would develop with Veerender as its people’s representative. Veerender told his supporters that no leader could achieve the progress as was done by his father. He alleged that people in Uppal were migrating due to lack of employment because of the negligent attitude of the State government towards local industries. He pledged to turn the constituency into an IT hub.
