Dana asks voters to verify their names
M Dana Kishore, the District Election Officer and Commissioner of GHMC, appealed to all the voters of Hyderabad district of 15 Assembly Constituencies to kindly cooperate with the Booth Level Officers BLOs who are visiting house to house for the distribution of voter slips and to verify their names duly acknowledging the same

Hyderabad: M Dana Kishore, the District Election Officer and Commissioner of GHMC, appealed to all the voters of Hyderabad district of 15 Assembly Constituencies to kindly cooperate with the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) who are visiting house to house for the distribution of voter slips and to verify their names duly acknowledging the same.
The GHMC has taken up various programmes involving NGOs/RWAs/SHGs and other organizations to create awareness about the importance of vote and requesting every voter to cast their vote on the poll day which is on December 7.
10K Run, lighting of lamps, painting competition for students etc have been organised to increase voter awareness. School children have also been involved to impress upon their parents and other family members to participate in the elections to cast their votes.
The DEO has released the posters with regard to participate in the elections by the Hyderabad Zindabad Organisation who has initiated many activities for the effective role of the voters and to cast their vote for the elections.(NSS)
