Training of officials engaged in election duty is completed, informed District Collector Rajat Kumar Saini in a statement issued on Monday
Kothagudem: Training of officials engaged in election duty is completed, informed District Collector Rajat Kumar Saini in a statement issued on Monday.
He said about 4,404 officials were trained to conduct the elections in smooth and fair manner in five Assembly constituencies in the district.
The training classes were held on Oct 15, 16, 17, 28, 29 and 30.
At voter awareness programme at Chunchupalli Junior College, trainee Collector IlaTripati appealed the young voters to actively participate in polling on Dec 7.
They must also motivate their parents to cast their votes, she added. Tripati wanted the district to emerge as a model in terms of election awareness by registering cent per cent voting. She advised the youth to report model code of conduct violations to officials using cVIGIL App.
