Peddapalli: Afraid and unable to face the TRS alone, four parties - Congress, TDP, TJS and CPI - formed a grand alliance ‘People’s Front’, which is unethical and contesting in the elections, stated caretaker IT Minister KT Rama Rao.

Speaking at Praja Ashirwada Sabha in Peddapalli on Monday, organised in support of Peddappalli TRS candidates, KTR questioned ‘Was it Congress and TDP, who opposed the formation of separate Telangana State?

Reminding when TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu called Sonia Gandhi as the Italian devil, he asked how Naidu can forge an alliance with her? “Chandrababu Naidu wrote more than 30 letters urging the Central government to stop the developmental works and projects that are taken up by the TRS government. Voting to People’s Front is nothing but voting to Chandrababu Naidu,” he added.

The TRS leader promised to grant Rs 5 lakhs for house construction to people with own plots, if their party comes to power. He said that they are doubling the pension amount and Rs one lakh crop loans will be waived off along with providing unemployment allowance.

Reminding that all the promises made by the TRS to Singareni workers and employees were fulfilled, KTR revealed that they are thinking of enhancing the salaries of the contract workers working in Singareni Collieries.

The TRS’ main target is to increase the income of the State and distribute that amount among the people. He assured of establishing Mining and Medical colleges in Ramagundam.

KTR said the People’s Front leaders will give many promises to cheat the Telangana people, but he warned the public not to believe them. He suggested not to cast their vote in haste but think wisely before voting.
