Madhapur: One of the biggest competitive fashion events of the year, Indywood Fashion Premier League (IFPL), inaugurated by fashion designer Sai Raunak on December 2 at HITEX Exhibition Centre here, ended on Wednesday, with a wonderful experience both for the participants and viewers. The three-day event left the audience awe-struck by the convergence of beauty and fashion. The league between teams was owned by billionaires with business interests in the field of films and entertainment. With a focus on spotlighting stylish destinations and talent, IFPL aims to inspire, showcase and unite fashion’s key creators, communicators and consumers. Exceptional designers, glamorous national and international show-stoppers and models lined up over three days to showcase fashion trends from different film territories.

The opening night of the concluding day of the event showcased exotic international maillot/ beachwear and Indo- western collections by designers like Abeal Robin, Ashvaq Ahamed and Jayanti Balal. A bevy of 26 models walked the ramp sporting the latest trends of the season along with stunning show stoppers Anthra Rawat, Preeti Soni and Vikramjeeth Virk. The day also witnessed the grand finale of Mr & Miss Indywood, an exclusive model hunt and beauty pageant. As many as 18 male and female models walked the ramp for the final round. The IFPL was supported by many commercial organisations located across the country. Its media partners were Just for Women (Official Lifestyle Magazine), Soulby weekly and Fashion Lady as Official E-Fashion Partner.

The league was a part of the fourth edition Indywood Film Carnival organised in association with the Government of Telangana. The carnival was a platform for international delegates and diplomats to network and meet key government officials and international personalities to strike deals and take part in interesting business sessions. The carnival saw the participation of over 5,000 delegates including 1,000 visitors from many foreign countries, and over 200 investors from more than 100 countries. The participants also included foreign diplomats, representatives of State tourism boards, including that of Telangana State.
