TDP cadre confident of Suhasini win
While all are waiting for Telangana Assembly election results which will be out within few hours, the TDP leaders and activists are wary over the outcome of results of Kukatpally constituency, where Nandamuri Suhasini, daughter of late Nandamuri Harikrishna and granddaughter of TDP founder Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao NTR, contested as TDP candidate
Hyderabad: While all are waiting for Telangana Assembly election results which will be out within few hours, the TDP leaders and activists are wary over the outcome of results of Kukatpally constituency, where Nandamuri Suhasini, daughter of late Nandamuri Harikrishna and grand-daughter of TDP founder Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao (NTR), contested as TDP candidate.
Soon after her candidature was announced,the political scenario totally with the Kukatpally constituency becoming the talking point in Telangana. The political analysts say that giving a ticket to Nandamuri family member for Telangana State Assembly elections was an idea of TDP chief and AP chief minister Nara Chandrababu. After the inception of Suhasini, Naidu stuck up to campaign to support her candidature along with many prominent leaders like Balakrishna and Paritala Sunitha. The residents and activists of Kukatpally also participated in large numbers.
Naidu has taken it as a challenge and intensified his canvass in the last two days of polls. Even actor-turned-politician and uncle of Suhasini, Nandamuri Balakrishna campaigned comprehensively in the constituency. With his flow of speech, people were attracted and took part in large numbers in the road shows which were conducted areas like Kukatpally, KPHB and Miyapur. After polling in the State, the leaders and activists of TDP exuded that Suhasini victory was certain. Even the top leaders of the party are confident of her win. One of the TDP activists Rajesh from Kukatpally, said, “We are confident that Suhasini will win the Kukatpally constituency. A majority ofpeople from the area are from Andhra Pradesh who settled here,and we all love Nandamuri family. We definitely believe that Suhasini will strive for the development of area.”
Subramanyam a resident of Miyapur said, “The TDP is the only party who will develop the area and work for people. I have been casting my vote for twenty years. Suhasini, daughter of NandamuriHarikrishna, will win the Kukatpally seat. There are many civic issues in the area which are not addressed so far. We have been waiting for a dedicated leader to solve all problems. Actually, we are vexed with previous MLAs.”
