Hyderabad: Serilingampally Revenue officials seized the guest house of popular Tollywood hero Prabhas. According to Serilingampally Tahasildar Vasuchandra, they have demolished the illegal constructions in Rayadurgam area where several illegal constructions were made in Paigah lands on Monday. There was a dispute on 84.30 acre land in survey number 46 in Rayadurgam. Government and private parties went to Supreme Court by claiming their possession on the land.
Three months ago, the Supreme Court gave a judgement in favour of government that the land belongs to them. Due to the election code they have stopped the demolition of the illegal constructions in the area. After completion of the elections the revenue officials again started the demolition of properties in Paigah lands and cleared it by using the JCBs. Hero Prabhas’s guest house was also near to it and when the officials did not find anyone in the guest house they seized it and pasted the notice to the gate. The officials said very soon with sign boards and security they will do arrangements to protect the government lands.
