Jharasangam: VIPs and political leaders will be attending the Datta Jayanthi celebrations at Sri Dattagiri Maharaj Ashram in Bardipur to be held on Saturday. On the occasion of Datta Jayanthi, which falls on Pournami of Margasira month every year, TRS leader and Rajya Sabha member K Keshava Rao, Zaheerabad MP BB Patil, MLC Fareeduddin, MLA K Manik Rao, leader Malkapuram Shiva kumar, Karnataka minister Bandappa, Balkipur MLA Eshwar Kandra may attend the events in the Ashram.
All arrangements such as queue lines, drinking water tanks, annadanam satrams have been made to avoid inconvenience to the devotees. Meanwhile, the second day of celebrations witnessed various spiritual and religious programmes on Friday. The day started with Suprabhatha Seva to the presiding deity at five in the morning. Later, Rudrabhishekam, Sri Datta Yagyam, Poornahuthi, Tulabharam to Sri Anasuya Matha and distribution of Maha prasadam to the devotees was held.
