Nirmal: District Collector M Prashanthi ordered the district officials that reservations of the local body elections should be transparent at a one-day training programme held at the Collector conference hall in Nirmal on Thursday.
The training was held for SC, ST, BC and ward members and RDOs. She asked them to follow the guidelines set up by the government in the upcoming elections.
Lakshmana Chanda MPDO Mohan presented power point presentation for creating awareness among sarpanches on how to select ward members.
Joint Collector A Bhaskar Rao, Rural Development Officer Raju, District Panchayat Officer Srinivas, MPDOs and others were present at the training programme.
