Hyderabad: Severe cold wave conditions prevailed on Wednesday at isolated places in Medak and Adilabad districts, where the minimum temperature of 6 degrees Celsius persisted for the third day in a row, the IMD bulletin said.

Cold weather was experienced at a few places in Hyderabad and Peddapalle Districts. According to the bulletin, Adilabad too recorded 6 degrees Celsius during the last 24 hours on Wednesday. The other night temperatures recorded in Telangana were Ramagundam at 9 degrees, Hyderabad at 10 degrees, Hanamkonda at 11 degrees, Khammam & Nizamabad at 12 degrees, Bhadrachalam & Mahbubnagar at 13 degrees, Hakimpet at 14 degrees and Nalgonda at 15 degrees. The bulletin warned that cold wave conditions are likely to prevail at isolated places in Medak, Adilabad, Kumarambheem, Nirmal, Kamareddy and Peddapally Districts on January 3.
