There is no substitute for hard work To succeed, you need to be a hard worker than a genius, the All India Universities Employees Confederation AIUEC viceoresident Dr Pulla Srinivas said
Warangal: There is no substitute for hard work. To succeed, you need to be a hard worker than a genius, the All India Universities Employees Confederation (AIUEC) vice-oresident Dr Pulla Srinivas said.
Dr P Srinivas, who attended as the chief guest at the Farewell Day celebrations at Vikas Junior College, said that students should have a plan for their future and work towards achieving it. Stating that determination, dedication and discipline play a vital role in one’s success, he advised the students to stick to them religiously.
“There are no short cuts for success, only way is hard work. Shortcuts may look easier and sometime you may reach close to your goals but they lead to disappointment in the long run,” Dr Srinivas said.
Dwelling at length on students’ distractions, he said that the advent of technology has also become a bane for the younger generations as majority of them are wasting time using gadgets such as smart phones. “The students should be aware of adverse effects of excessive use of mobile phones. Over use of cell phones make students neglect their academics. As a result, they spoil their career,” Dr Srinivas said.
College principal Karunakar, directors Madhupal, Jagadish, Metro Ravi, Corporator Shiv Shankar, teachers and students were among others were present at the programme.
