MLA participates in plantation drive

Siddipet: Local MLA T Harish Rao took part in mega plantation drive by planting saplings organised on the occasion of CM KCR’s birthday here on Sunday. Councillor Prashanth also planted saplings after a call given by the MLA.Later, dumping yard in Mittapally of Siddipet urban mandal was inspected by Harish Rao. MLA informed that public participation enables things for long time.
He also advised MPDO Sammi Reddy and SUDA Chairman Ravinder Reddy to take up plantation drive in dumpyard and graveyard under Haritha Haram.Harish further advised representatives of local people to take up plantation drive in Yensanpalli and Yellupalli. Graveyards should look alike parks, he added.
The MLA directed MPDO to take up construction of sheep sheds after completing a survey to find out number of families of sheep community residing in the village. Municipal Chairman Raja Narsu, SUDA Chairman Ravinder Reddy, Municipal Commissioner Srinivas Reddy, councillors, people’s representatives and municipal staff were present.
